FOSCO Launches Strategic Plan | 2024-2028

Foso College of Education has officially launched its Strategic Plan (2024-2028), outlining a clear roadmap for institutional growth and academic excellence. The launch event, held on Friday, February 28, 2025, at the College Assembly Hall, brought together staff, students, and key stakeholders to discuss the vision and priorities for the next five years.

The Principal, in his opening address, highlighted the core focus areas of the strategic plan, which include the advancement of teaching and learning, ICT development, financial stability, security and welfare of students and staff, research, gender and diversity, asset management, and stakeholder engagement. He encouraged all unit and department heads to review the plan and develop strategies that would contribute to its successful implementation.

The strategic plan prioritizes strengthening academic programs, integrating ICT resources, ensuring financial sustainability, improving campus security, fostering a research-driven culture, promoting inclusivity, and managing institutional assets effectively. A robust monitoring and evaluation system has also been established to track progress and ensure accountability.

The event concluded with an interactive session where staff and students shared insights on implementing the plan. The management emphasized the need for active participation from all stakeholders to achieve the outlined goals.

With this strategic plan, Foso College of Education reaffirms its commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainable growth, ensuring that the institution remains a leader in teacher education.
