Foso College of Education started, as Foso Training College, as one of the Ghana Education Trust (GET) complexes in November 1965. It was set up to train teachers who in turn would contribute to the rapid human resource development of the country. Since its establishment, the College has had the privilege of running every teacher training program that has been instituted by the Government of Ghana through the Ghana Education Service (GES). The College is currently running two programs – Bachelor of Education (JHS) and Diploma in Basic Education.
