In a heartfelt gesture of support, the 1993-year group of Foso College of Education, led by George Yeboah Mensah and George Hagan, has donated a new mower to the school. The donation, made during a brief ceremony on campus, will significantly aid in maintaining the college’s expansive lawns and gardens.

Speaking at the ceremony, George Yeboah Mensah expressed the group’s desire to give back to the school that shaped their professional lives. George Hagan added that alumni support is crucial to the college’s facilities and overall student experience.

The donation, made during a brief ceremony on campus, will significantly aid in maintaining the college's expansive lawns and gardens.

Dr. Regina Sally Maison, Vice Principal of the college, received the donation and expressed gratitude, noting that the mower would help keep the campus beautiful and environmentally friendly. She also encouraged other alumni groups to follow suit in contributing to the institution’s development.

The industrial-grade mower is designed to handle large areas efficiently and will be used by the maintenance team to keep the grounds in pristine condition. Foso College of Education proudly hosted its 14th Annual Congregation on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. This prestigious event marked a significant milestone for the institution, as it celebrated the graduation of the second cohort of students from the 4-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program. The ceremony, held in the College Auditorium, commenced at 10:00 am and was attended by a distinguished assembly of dignitaries, including Representatives of members of Parliament, members of the governing council, traditional leaders, families, staff, students, and guests.

The congregation was honored by the presence of notable guest, including Prof. Dominic Kwaku Danso Mensah, the chairman of the governing council and Prof. (Mrs.) Alfredina Z.P. Kuupole a representative from the University of Cape Coast. The event was further graced by traditional leaders, who played a vital role in the cultural heritage of the region, and families who came to support the graduates. The representative of the distinguished Guest of Honor, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Honorable Minister for Education, highlighted the significance of education and the college’s contributions to the nation’s academic landscape.
